Discover Sandhill Pines Campground & RV Park

Family-Run Campground Rooted in Land, Culture & Community

Sandhill Pines is a place where summer unfolds at a slower pace. Families gather here year after year to enjoy the outdoors, spend time together, and create lasting traditions. As a Métis-owned, family-run campground on Treaty 1 Territory within the Homeland of the Red River Métis, we’re proud to care for this land and share it in a way that feels welcoming, grounded, and genuine.

Meet the Owners

Sandhill Pines is owned and operated by Sean Rauch, with Sean and Erin living onsite throughout the camping season alongside their family. What you’ll find here isn’t just a campground — it’s a place shaped by the people who care for it every day.

Together, Sean and Erin take a truly hands-on approach. You’ll see them out and about — checking in with campers, working on projects, sharing stories, or simply being part of the community that makes Sandhill Pines what it is.

They don’t just run the campground. They live it. And they can't wait to welcome you!

Sean is the hands-on heartbeat of Sandhill Pines.

He’s a father, a lifelong tinkerer, and the guy who can fix just about anything with a wrench, a plan, and a grin. When he’s not keeping the campground running smoothly, you’ll usually find him working on trucks, rolling at Brazilian jiu jitsu, or building something that didn’t exist yesterday.

With a construction background and a love for physical work, Sean brings the grit, the know‑how, and the “let’s make it happen” energy that will keep Sandhill Pines evolving season after season.

Erin brings the warmth, the organization, and the magic that makes Sandhill Pines feel like home.

She’s a mother, a multitasker by nature, and an avid downhill skier who spends winter weekends carving runs with her boys. She’s the one who can turn meal prep into an art form and keep a family fed even on the busiest weeks.

During camping season, she’s the voice behind communications, the architect of guest experience, and the creator of the little touches that make your stay feel thoughtful and easy.

Our Commitment to Land & Community

We care deeply about the land Sandhill Pines calls home. As a Métis-owned campground on Treaty 1 Territory, we approach our role with respect — maintaining natural spaces, minimizing our impact, and encouraging thoughtful use of the environment.

That care extends to the community here as well. By keeping things simple and well looked after, we aim to create a space where people can relax, connect, and enjoy the experience in a way that feels natural.
